Announcement: Million Signed as Full-Season Driver in 8-Race World Racing League Season for Palomar Racing

San Marcos, CA | January 1st, 2023

Matt Million: “I am pleased to announce my first racing commitment for the 2023 season. I will rejoin Palomar Racing for the 2023 World Racing League season. The team and I will contend for full Mid-West Championship as well as the National Championship by entering in select Eastern races during the summer. We will enter the GP1 category with a primary entry and secondary entry.”

“Palomar Racing will update and improve their current two BMW E36 race cars to comply with WRL GP1 regulations. I will be piloting the primary entry full-season alongside codrivers Nik Romano and Ryan Keeley.”

“Our first stop in the 8-race campaign is Barber Motorsports Park in early March for a 9 + 7 Hour format (9 hours Saturday, 7 hours Sunday). After that, we will head to Mid-Ohio, Road America, VIR, Road Atlanta, High Plains, Hallett, and Circuit of the America’s.”

“I’m immensely grateful to Andy and Mike of Palomar Racing in their commitment to my racing career. The financials of this sport are super difficult, so 2022 was an unbelievable opportunity to be fully supported by the team and Palomar Solar and Roofing. We enter 2023 with a new national challenge on our minds and a young-yet-proven team. I cannot wait to see what our World Racing League pursuit looks like this season.”
